Yet, past true and honest rebellions and resistance have little organization and keen strategy, less supported masses.

Peasant rebellions have grand historic promise in Siam/Thailand, yet peter out without supportive numbers.

If such "revolts" were to become popular - the most logical manner might be to throw Gandhi-esque disposition at them.

It's been know to work in the past.

I think they are happy to accept the status quo. Hard to argue with the armed forces.

There will be no rebellion, no uprising, no dispute and probably no ill feeling from the people.

They will barely look up from their phones for this. As long as they have Facebook, Lottery, Food and Soap Operas then they are content. They simply cannot comprehend anything beyond those 4 things and under no circumstances whatsoever can they put 2 and 2 together and form an opinion.

They will do as they are told and vote for whoever their masters minions tell them to vote for or for whoever pays the most for their vote.

Truly Pathetic.

We are the same, distracted by trivia and provided with treats in the year of election.

Pathetic we are.

They hand balled the election date to the EC who said it was about the royal decree. Why was the government unable to make that announcement?

The PM has been noticeably silent on this issue. Given he has made so many false promises on the date of the election he is now hiding and doing what he does best and blames someone else (EC) for the problems he has created. Leaving the double dealing Wissanu to do his dirty work as usual.

Indeed, your utter contempt for, and ignorance of. the people amongst whom you (presumably) live is truly pathetic.

time depends on how much manipulation is needed to arrive at the preferred decision.

And then prepare the military for the proper response to the general population when they express their opinions regarding the outcome of the election.

The only pathetic thing I see is your post. What utter drivel. You sir should be ashamed about what you just wrote. But alas, underestimating people is never a smart thing to do. Especially not, if there is ample evidence to suggest otherwise.

Time will tell. You will see.

Do you think the odds of civil war within 2019 have now risen ?

Not going to happen. The Thais are too complacent now. Unless Facebook gets shut off, the only war happening is the same old same old with the poor from Issan getting paid daily to cause problems in Bangkok.

Otherwise, it’s a hashtag and a bunch of grumbling from a handful of locals.

If people cannot see by now that the whole 'election' is a disgraceful, manipulated fraud - then there is no hope for them or their perceptiveness. They must be living in a cave (which, of course, is where the Thai faux-elite would prefer to have the sovereignty holders of the nation - the Thai People - grovel in the dust all their lives long!).

The coronation of Rama X seems to be much more pertinent and interesting for masses, than rubberstamping the puppet administration, at least here in N / NE of the Kingdom, based on local sentiment.

Can't guarantee the [conditioned] popularity is that overwhelming.

....and it's a shame that some don't comprehend the measures of Thai history, yet pretend as if they know all there is to know and how it all fits.

The system is seriously flawed, hence the need for all of those coups.. Those pesky members of the electorate simply refuse to vote for the "good guys".

That smart they are !

Hmm, you rather take the lead in " pretend as if they know all there is to know and how it all fits."

With the bonus that you never actually explain just what it is that you know, and no one else does!

Kind of a leitmotif which runs through all your posts I suggest...
