Security camera footage at the railway station showed a lean man, who appeared about 170 centimetres tall, carrying the bag at 5.20pm on Monday.

When patrol police from the Thung Song Hong dropped by to check the station, the man got up and walked out of the station and did not return.

Security officials at the station called police as the bag had been left unattended for days.

The train is the favorite transportation for mules. I saw more than once, that middle aged men got of the train somewhere, carrying a bag, and coming back after a few minutes carrying a complete different bag. Happens regularly on the 169/172 train from/to HDY and Bangkok

Security officials at the station called police as the bag had been left unattended for days.So it just sat there for days !,might have been a bomb.

The "lean guy",must have lost his bottle,or the contact failed to show,

Same thought crossed my mind - an explosive device in the bag for days - unbelievable! In the UK the Bomb Squad would have been in attendance within the hour!.
