The new order was rushed out to accommodate maybe you and others who need to verify income after Embassies removed the facility. For once the requirements seem to have been laid out quite clearly, and people may need to adjust to meet them. I have hopes that in the future some flexibility will become apparent, but for now, we yes sir, no sit, three bags full sir!

UJ, I have this recollection that the capital portion of a 'combi app' does not actually have to be 'seasoned'.

 

Do you have any  knowledge of that please?

If you using ATM cards to transfer money I suggest you check your bank statement for your costs + rate exchange, think you will find it cheaper to use direct transfer to your Thai bank account. 
From the UK a Halifax Clarity mastercard gives a better net rate than Transferwise and the like

Correct. And Clarity is what i use.
