Where To Stay In Phuket

I am trying to book a hotel in Phuket and am feeling overwhelmed with options. Does anyone have any suggestions for an upscale hotel/resort (it is our honeymoon). We want to be close as possible to the beach. Thanks!

Kata Noi beach is one of the island's best IMO and has a no-through road, so is quiet in the traffic respect. Kata Thai hotel is the only real hotel operation on that beach and the Thani wing is virtually right on it. You'll be lucky to get a room there though as they tender out to the major travel agencies and don't seem to take bookings direct... at the mo anyway. Being on your honeymoon perhaps you'd want something a bit more intimate anyway? The Boathouse on Kata beach (just north of Kata Noi) is more cozy, right on the beach, and also near some nightlife and shops.

All the best. :o

I would go for the boathouse as well, beautiful place, not cheap though

^^

Yeah I agree, Kata Noi has a perfect setting far a honeymoon, Kata Yai would be a good choice aswell

as it has more restaurants and what not close by if you feel like venturing out.
