Dead woman: "Lady of the Hills" is my daughter, claims Udon Thani mother

I suppose rare but can happen but members be asked to help by their Thai wife or girl friend make contact with an acquaintances family member.

Firstly, If they feel it is unusual behavior, sudden or worried about someones welfare they should report it to Thai authorities, (not sure how but if anyone knows better please post).

Secondly if say overtime they have lost contact there are a number of organisations within the UK who can help, but note: they will only report back a person is alive and well and maybe forward messages, they are not going to pass on that persons address or phone number. (or messages like the buffalo is sick please send money).

Tracing Lost Family Members

Services for those who are looking to trace relatives with whom contact has been lost over the years, maybe through house moves or family conflict, or for those who are looking to research their family history.

Missing People Lost Contact Tracing Service can assist with locating and contacting relatives who you have lost contact with.

The British Red Cross International Tracing and Message Service provides advice on finding family members separated by conflict, disaster or migration overseas.

The Salvation Army Family Tracing Service exists to trace relatives who have lost contact with each other, either recently or in the past.

But again a person may choose to not to have contact with their family, so please respect their rights, going banging on their door telling them to phone home can be construed under English law as harassment particularly if repeated.

Absolute nonsense.  The majority of murders in the UK are solved following expert detective work and forensic examinations in addition to DNA checks which are certainly better than Thailand's pathetic

hope the DNA proves it, so family can have closure and police can get the b*stard that did it. Wonder where the kids are?

  • Beggars belief, appalling standards of police work, just mark it down as accidental death. UK police really are at the bottom of the ladder.
