  • These people who are out to get Trump won't give up even though there isn't a smidgen of evidence that any malfeasance has been committed.

What a difference a House majority makes.

  • Depends on how you define "smidgen."  This Bloomberg article gives you a pretty complete view, not only Trump, but his entire circle of criminals.  It doesn't look like a "smidgen" of evidence to me.

How small is a smidgen in your mind? And, what if he were only a smidgen involved with the Russians in trying to influence the 2016 elections?

There is no evidence whatsoever. These iinvestigations are an appalling waste of time and money.

So, the convictions of Flynn, Cohen and Manafort among the conviction of eight Trump cronies and the indictment of 30 others associated with the investigation of Trump as processed by the US Justice Department and the US Federal Courts was based on "no evidence whatsoever"?  My my, how quaint.

So, just because Trump has managed to stay directly out of the quagmire so far; we should all just stop the investigation?  What Trumpet are you playing?

Just can't understand Trump trying to stifle the investigation which would clear him; hmmm, wonder why?

In my mind, any innocent person would want to see the investigation completed; just to clear their name, wouldn't they?

Sort of reminds you of the Saturday night massacre when Nixon had Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox fired, to try to stop the Watergate investigation against him.

Trump, asked about Schiff's comments at a White House appearance, retorted: "Under what basis would he do that? He has no basis to do that. He's just a political hack. ... There would be no reason to do that."

True words indeed.

Didn't take the Dems long to start the campaign against Trump, as apparently "getting" Trump is more important than producing legislation for the benefit of the people that pay their wages.

But he’s acting very guilty...so damn obvious. One would have to be an utter fool not to see there’s deep issues with all the Meuller indictments and charges.

you must be one of his TrumPets?

Serious matter for a US President to be a Putin stooge, DONT ya think , matey? Treason! Meuller is a pit bull. Watch the crooks get their Wall. 4 of them! With steel bars.

In Benghazi an American ambassador and other Americans died, because of government failings. Of course it was worth an investigation ( or 2 ). No such facts exist with the "Trump colluded with the Russians" situation. Had the previous AG not been such a waste of space ( IMO ), it would never even have got started.

IF a US president WAS a Putin stooge I'd agree with you.

Trying to educate the Trump diehards is a waste of energy. But ok one more time:

There are people convicted, indicted and more to follow. The investigation is making money, not costing money. Try to read a bit, you might learn something.

The only people indicted having anything to do with Russian interference in the election process were a bunch of Russians trolling around on social media, and it's not like the USA has never interfered in an other countries election. Those individuals will never stand trial. None of the other indictments or convictions have had anything to do with so called Russian collusion.  So what are we left with?  Endless "allegations" that political hacks like Schiff will use to continue this crap ad nauseam for the sole purpose of continuing the partisan bickering. If Schiff wants to release "closed door" congressional testimony, I'm all for it, but release it to the public so the public can decide for themselves.

The intent by the likes of Schiff is to keep anything Trump under a cloud and everything unresolved until 2020. It is certainly NOT to deal with the issues, investigate them and release a report.

For all the good that has taken place regarding the economy as it relates to jobs, business, etc., the Dems won't give Trump any credit and two years into Trumps leadership, idiots like Congressman Brad Sherman say Trump is riding Obama's coattails on the economy.  If the Dems take over in 2020, they will increase taxes and companies will simply invest less, hire less and look back overseas for production.  Unemployment will increase and when that happens the cost of the social services will increase.  Neither the economy nor wages are where anyone would like to see them but it's been a pretty decent start. As the former owner of a manufacturing company, I can tell everyone first hand that confidence in the leadership, tax stability, structural integrity, etc. are paramount in planning business strategy and making businesses grow. One has to have confidence in the future outlook before they take risk. All one has to do is look around Los Angeles to see the building boom that has taken place over the last two years.

Perhaps they believe getting Trump would be the best benefit for the people who pay their wages.

TWO YEARS and ZERO to do with collusion has been discovered.

How long does the taxpayer have to fund this fiasco? For ever? Till Trump leaves office in 2025?

My belief is that they will keep as many investigations going as possible till the next election, and if Trump loses/ does not stand, they will be closed down quietly.

I agree with you that it is all to keep casting doubt, even if they have not a shred of evidence of collusion by Trump. If it was in Thailand, I'd call it the "long con".

What funding by the taxpayer? So far this investigation has brought in a considerable sum more than the expenses have been. On top of that, lots of convictions have been handed out. Yes, not Trump directly, but connections to the campaign have been proven.

Can you quote them. I am unaware of anything related to Russian collusion with the election being discovered by the Meuller investigation.

Well, let's see, for two years under a Republican-controlled Congress the investigation continued; now you expect it to fold under a Democrat-controlled House?

After posting the same BS on past topics, you (and others) have been presented with facts regarding comparable past investigations. The current one isn't taking longer, nor is it too shabby in the results department. Your wilful ignorance is dully noted.

Absolutely no evidence of anything that the the politically created investigation was invented on has been found. Other than the blatantly biased fbi and doj were rife with political hacks.

This profile has repeatedly made its views known. It will be interesting to see what happens to this profile after Mueller's report. I'd guess it will disappear because it will impossible to continue pretending it has any credibility whatsoever.

ZERO?  What about Don Jr meeting the Russians in Trump tower?  How about Stone being arrested and his connections to the Wikileaks emails?

There is ignorance, willful ignorance, and stubborn ignorance.  Trumpies have made their choice.

These are anything but ridiculously partisan investigations, against the ridiculously partisan president. The investigations are only beginning, in the Congress, and that is in addition to the other 17 state and federal investigations that Trump has attracted thought his felonies, his vitriol, his hatred, his animosity, his war on the freedom of the press, and his career, built on lies and deceptions. They will continue, and they will either force him from office, or at the very least, force him to not run again. For those of you who consider a 2020 run an automatic thing, think again. It is not going to happen. By next year, Trump will be so radioactive, nobody will even want to be associated with him, except his last few remaining die hard devotees.
