Buying condo does money have to come from overseas...lived her 14 years

I am a Canadian who has lived here 15 years...teaching...retired and now teaching again. When I bought my first condo in Bangkok the money needed to come from overseas. When I bought a holiday condo in Pattaya off the plan I was allowed to pay some on a monthly basis from my salary up to the completion date then I had to pay the remainder with funds from overseas. Well after having worked here for a number of years I have saved enough money to purchase another condo...the money was all earned in Thailand...am I allowed to buy with Thai money after having lived here all these years. If I do need need to transfer money back to my home country and then back into Canada what is the best/easiest way to do that?
