A harmless pastime.  These entrepreneurs should be encouraged.

Why do teachers in Thailand never actually have English names ?

That is an English name said Mr Patel????

All I care about is the fate of the dog. The article provides no closure concerning it. If not for the meth, I would have totally empathised with the teacher. Nothing wrong with a bit of decent hooch.

Actually Joseph is half Thai, American passport from what I've heard.

Obviously a good Farmer, ... Maybe he should move to Australia ? ...

43.3 grams of crystal meth for personal use?

Haven't done meth since I was a teenager, but if I remember correctly there was at least 10 hits per gram.

Conclusion: Tweekers suck.

Are you drunk?  "Smack" is heroin, not meth. Everyone knows that. ????

I imagine his new address will be Bangkok Hilton  for awhile

Drug addiction is a sickness,  I hope he finds his way and recovers.

time has long gone when landing at  don muang, immigration police would hardly check your passport! you were a farang, bringing dollars into the country,, not conducting "criminal activities", indeed.

He obviously worked at THE AMERICAN SCHOOL OF BANGKOK (ASB).

Apparently he was not qualified to TEACH!!! Another idiot giving farang teachers that are qualified a bad name!!! Has the MOE looked into this issue?

If he is American, then deport him so that he does 30+ years in the big house for meth with intent to distribute. No user would be stupid enough to have 43 grams for personal use! Also, it seems that the weed he was busted with trying to sell to police was probably stashed in the commercial building that he was squatting in while ripping off the local MEA for power. Or did he magically grow it after making bail the first time?

Investigative journalists will find more on this fraud if they start to research the facts.

Too many idiots in the world...

No other source of income.

Out on bail by tomorrow if not already.

He really did not mean to do it.

Having dog with him might confuse investigation and/or sting.

Promises not to do it again, at least until he gets bail.

sunnyboy2018 is in his corner.

the meth  is for his dog...and when he found out the dog gets the shits from meth he organiced some home trown health food...some wais and a apology will do

Dual nationality I think. With a Thai passport he will never be deported.
