Indonesia’s Go-Jek ride-hailing service has now started up in Thailand under the banner ‘GET’.

Nadiem Makarim, the founder and CEO says they will continue to move into the regional market currently dominated by Grab.

Go-Jek, Indonesian for motorbike taxis (sort of), has launched in Thailand as ‘GET’ and will concurrently build presence in The Philippines through a recent financial-tech acquisition.

More people for the taxi mafia to beat up...

So now there will be another group with machetes chopping each other off, jek vs grab.

Doesn't that GET! translate to bugger off in English, sort of something your granny might say when you've been naughty?

Never mind the Kojak reference .. at least they aren't releasing a car named Probe.

Out of curiosity I've downloaded and installed the app but I can't even finalize the registration... I did not get neither the sms code nor the call...

Get beatdown.  Get your money ready.  Get another taxi.  Get out of my way.  Get grab and get beat.
