Popular Post PoorSucker
Suggest that you contact a lawyer, under current rules you will get a three year automatic blacklist. So you didn't get a new passport for two years? 1
Popular Post yuiop
Why didn't you go to the nearest Police office to report your gf? You probably have/had line/fb/messenger conversations showing the request for money. I'd have gone to my consulate/embassy too. Your passport is your life here, but you waited 2 yrs? Edited March 11, 2019 by yuiop ok you not a troll? 4

PoorSucker
If you get caught before leaving, you'll face a 10 year blacklist.
HampiK
You have 2 option: - you leave the country by yourself and receive a 3 year ban - they catch you while you in Thailand and then you receive a 10 year ban Without blacklisting I don't think you will be able to handle it!
Popular Post A1Str8
As for the little sl/t, who cares she wants money. Just meet her, take it from her. Are you a man or what?? As for overstay, they are going to ban you from returning anyway, unless you have connections. Go to your embassy, tell them a person you know stole your pass from you, you need a new one. They have to issue a temporary one. Then go online and book an open flight ticket, with which the date of departure can be altered. With the temporary pass, go to the cops and tell them the name of the b**ch, that stole it from you. When they ask for ID, show them your new pass. After which they will take the girl in for theft, and you for overstay. You will be taken to IDC, from there they will take you to court, where the judge will tell you that you are blacklisted. Then back to IDC from where they will only let you fly out if you have a ticket home and a pass. Since you do, you wont be there long. I know you would like to leave without getting arrested, but that wont happen. Edited March 11, 2019 by A1Str8

Popular Post elviajero
There is no legal way to avoid the ban unless you instruct a lawyer to appeal the ban. Not much chance of that if the best you can come up with is my ex girlfriend was holding my passport to ransom. The only way people get bans lifted, or overstays ignored, is to employ an agent connected to immigration that - for a very large fee - will make it go away. I can't help you with that.

Popular Post blackcab
Your first steps are: Obtain a police report for your lost passport Go to your embassy and get a new passport issued Whatever happens you will need a new passport, unless you intend to hide in Thailand on overstay forever without being detected. Get your passport sorted out first.

You say the passport would be real, so why can't you go ahead and personally apply for a new passport from your home country? Sounds strange. In fact is it possible for an agent to apply on your behalf for a new passport? For my old country the person involved must apply personally for a new / replacement passport. Seems to me you answered your own question whether the blocking of overstay and get a new 30 day visa is legitimate. Popular Post blackcab
You do not go to the British Embassy for a new passport. Applications are done at the Trendy Building on Sukhumvit 13 in Bangkok. Lots of info on the forum about this. scorecard
When you went to the police station to get a police report re theft of your passport how come the police didn't take action for overstay? When you apply for a new passport at UK embassy or perhaps online seems to me there is risk that the embassy would alert the Thai police about the overstay (but that's an assumption). The British Embassy, the US embassy, all embassies would not not want to get into games / turn the other way and ignore the dates etc. All embassies strive to keep good relations / good cooperation with the local government. A police report is a very simple affair done at a desk at the front of the station. Nobody checks your ID or status. 5 minutes ago, scorecard said: When you apply for a new passport at UK embassy or perhaps online seems to me there is risk that the embassy would alert the Thai police about the overstay (but that's an assumption). There is no risk. The British Embassy has no knowledge of your immigration status in Thailand. Thsi immigration does not tell the British Embassy if you do or do not have an extension if stay. Further, British citizens do not go to the Embassy to obtain a passport. Instead they go to a third party provider called VFS at an office block in Bangkok.

In most cases, a fixer cannot help you with a genuine new passport. The big problem you have now is that your embassy almost certainly will not issue you a new passport without a police report. I think you are going to have to risk reporting this to the police, hoping they do not arrest you. There are fixers who can resolve overstays once you have a genuine passport. There is also a good chance of being cheated by someone who claims they can fix the problem but does not come through. I would be very suspicious of someone claiming they can, say, get you a genuine UK or US passport without you needing to do anything.
SteveK
Assuming that you don't need to stay in Thailand or to come back for a few years, then you don't have a (major) issue. Get a new passport in Bangkok as advised above, and fly home. Don't transfer any money to the thief, because you almost certainly still won't get your passport back, she will have sold it by now. British embassy is still there, by the way. Edited March 11, 2019 by pr9spk

That is fake and a scam for sure! Nobody can clear overstay for you, except a member of the group that runs the country. And they wont do it, especially not for a joke 70k thb. Thailand is directly linked to US immigration databases, for this specific reason. Nobody can meddle with stored data, because its backed up and stored on US immigration servers. Even if you changed anything, it is still there and very very few have the power to make that disappear. I already explained it to you, how you can do it, but you think you can outsmart the system:) The girl doesnt wanna talk to you. Again, nobody is interested what she wants. If you know where she lives, you go get it. Or if not possible, then go to the police and report it. Name, conversations, everything you have. And tell them, she stole it. And yeah, if you are British, then you dont get the pass at the embassy, but Trendy.
Popular Post Social Media
Why not book a flight back to the Uk, go to the Brit Embassy get an "emergency travel doc/passport" pay the 20k max overstay fine at the airport. KarlS
Forget about "fixing" the overstay and avoiding the ban, Obtain a new passport by opening the link and following the instructions. https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport. When you have the passport book a flight. Leave via an airport the overstay fine will be 20,000Baht.

Popular Post MARK74
you get your passport from trendy and what you should really get is emergency travel document from the embassy. if you can get a new passport then perhaps there's an agent who can fix it but you're putting yourself out there to get ripped off and it will be a substantial amount of money. it's risky using an agent for that regardless as you may end up in even more shit than you are now. you really should think long and hard about staying here. if i was you i'd get an emergency travel document and try to get out of here ASAP. but best of luck with it. it's highly unlikely there's a way around the ban for you even using an agent imo.
