Topical Tacrolimus on islands (Koh Tao)?

Featured Replies

I am seeking topical tacrolimus for a rash I have, does anyone know if they have it on this island? Thank you!

Doubtful.

You can easily get a steroid cream (any pharmacy), but tacrolimus requires a prescription which in Thailand usually means available only from hospitals, and only larger hospitals would have it. You'd have to see a dermatologist on staff first to get it prescribed.  Might be able to get it from hospital in Surat Thani.

Bangkok hospital runs a clinic on Koh Tao. You can ask them if they can get it for you from Bangkok Hospital Samui (I doubt it,  though). Or call the pharmacist at Bangkok Hospital Samui whether they have it 077-420 500.
