NO PTP + FFP won popular vote = 14.1m  +++ and they have 255 of the 500 seats and first thing to do?  SACK the 250 unelected bootlickers

You don't really understand the voting system, do you?

Ever heard the term "first past the post wins the seat?

Well, that is the reason there is a difference between the number of seats won by a party and the number of votes on a party.

You really think sacking the senators will bring good things to the country?

Dream on......

Of course he is. You conveniently forgetting that the Junta dissolved PTP sister party. What this election did show beyond any doubt, Thaksin is more popular than Prayuth. Something everyone already knew.

Read the results, less votes for PTP!!!!!!!

I have to laugh, the new voting system of every vote counts was supposed to clip the wings of Pheua Thai. It did but it also gave a massive boost to Future Forward, enabling them to pick up many Party List seats.

Tough luck Meechai and Visanu.

Another one comparing apples to oranges.

Less votes because this election was held under a completely different system.

Had the election been held under the same constitution as the 2011 election and Pheu Thai received just under 8 million votes, then there is something to be discussed, as it is, it wasn't, so.....

Yes, less votes, only contested in 250 out of 350 constituencies. You junta fanboys really have no idea how to properly read election results. Come back when election are being conducted that are free and fair. In any case, PTP did win the election, as in Thailand, it never was about the popular vote, it is about the number of seats in parliament.

That system failed miseably. No way PTP has zero party list seats, not every vote count, some count way less. The old system was most certainly better and fair. Good to see they "good guys" didn't benefit from it ????

Oh boy, the figures don't add up with what they previously announced, the turnout at 94% was 65% now all of a sudden it went up with almost 10%.

Did they simply add a few more ballots that don't match with a registered voter ?

Votes had to be added in order for the junta to win. They would have covered it up a little better if there hadn't been so much pressure to get the results out quickly.
