So how do you KNOW it?

If it cannot be proved in a court, and they have a lot more information than you, from a lot more sources, all you have is your opinion.

Your opinion is worth just as much as anybody else's.

For instance I could say that Thaksin is as pure as the driven snow, but it would be only my opinion.

Do you not think that by now the government would have shut down the PTP if they could prove it, even in the courts as bent as they are in Thailand?

They have had YEARS to obtain the evidence but has there been a prosecution yet?

Yes my opinion is as good as anyone else his.

I guess you don't understand the difference between proving something in court and knowing it.

Maybe you don't have that much experience in court, but the bar for for proving something in court is much higher then knowing. For instance overhearing a conversation between two people proving Thaksin is still in power would not count. So many things would not count. It would have to be taped or written before it can be used.

It would be so easy for Thaksin to just contact in secret with one person who then gives his orders to his minions. Proving it would then be impossible. But if you really believe that Thaksin stepped away from the PTP and has no influence over it anymore I would call you naive.

My opinion.

Thaksin has yet to ever boycott an election, alter a constitution to make it less democratic, sack and replace the entire Election Commission with his own cronies, not accept the results of an electio

  • The Democrats don't have to join Pheua Thai. that's expecting too much, Everyone knows Thaksin doesn't possess one democratic bone in his body. But to join Palang Pracharat is even worse, a party

Hahaha, this from someone who takes the likes of Suthep and Prayuth at their word.

Asian Correspondent is an independent news source that aims to bring the most important stories in Asia to an international, English-speaking audience. We combine original features from writers and bloggers across Asia with some of the world’s best reporting from the Reuters wires. Asian Correspondent’s coverage offers insight into politics, media and education from Bangkok to Beijing and brings you the stories that rarely make it into English media.

Yeah, lets dismiss a reputable news organisation whilst at the same time believing an old clown who says his dead friend lent him 25 watches - geez you junta boys are something else

The last time I did a search on this organization I looked them up by name. Then I looked up the names of management and googled their names. What I got was a history of a loose organization of bloggers. What I can tell you is that they do not and never will have the same veritas as Human Rights Watch. As for me being a fan of Suthep or a coup, once again you have missed the boat, seems as if it's a bit of a habit with you. Have a great day.

Hhhmmmm.......

Asian Correspondent is the online partner for the Associated Press in Asia

Asian Correspondent is often quoted in other media. Qz.com has cited its content on multiple occasions, most recently in May 2014 for its coverage of the military coup[4] in Thailand

I guess unless an article is written by the dead guy who lent Prawit the watches you just aren't going to trust it hey?
