Yes, it is interesting. I did not know they had had a pediatric cardiologist and pulmonologist at the field hospital.

Very cool. i like how they established a treatment protocol immediately upon recognizing the problem. Emergency medicine at its finest.

It was givento keep them immobile and thus reduce risk of dislodgement of breathing apparatus.

Shivering is actually a heat producing mechanism so useful in combatting hypothermia, but given the need for these boys to be physically still while being manuevered through tight spaces with sharp jutting rocks etc, would have been undesirable
