Latest Fox News Poll shows that Trump's performance on immigration has the support of 41% of Americans. Which I guess is your idea of  "pretty much everyone"

  • It's not about the wall, it's about the child separation policy. Nielsen said she wouldn't do it as it was illegal, immoral, just plain wrong. Trump doesn't care about adhering to the laws nor the con

LONG LIST OF DEPARTURES

The removal of Alles marked the latest in a long line of firings and resignations of senior officials in the Trump administration, a list that has included the secretaries of state, defence, homeland security, interior, veterans affairs and health and human services, the attorney general and numerous senior White House aides.

Dropping like dead flies on a pile of turds..... And according to the OP article, more senior departures on the way.

Trump is a one-man wrecking crew for the U.S. government and the country at large. If you read the articles on Nielsen's departure, he's clearly becoming deranged and willing to totally ignore the pertinent laws governing the conduct of his administration.

From the NYT's report on Nielsen's firing/resignation:

Quote

The president called Ms. Nielsen at home early in the mornings to demand that she take action to stop migrants from entering the country, including doing things that were clearly illegal, such as blocking all migrants from seeking asylum. She repeatedly noted the limitations imposed on her department by federal laws, court settlements and international obligations.

In early 2019, as the number of migrant families from Central American countries surged, the president’s fury at Ms. Nielsen did, too. He repeatedly demanded that she cut off foreign aid to Central American countries even though the funding was the responsibility of the State Department. She repeatedly deflected his demands.

One day after Ms. Nielsen traveled to Honduras to sign a regional compact with officials from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, Mr. Trump cut State Department funding for the countries.

Trump may be a liar, but one thing he didn't lie about is, he is definitely a "high energy person". He can create more mayhem by lunchtime on any given day than most men could create in a month. New Yorkers; always on the offensive.

Raised on the East Coast. We were taught, “defensive driving”, you get the picture?

Trump loves to fire people.

That's because he's a "doer" instead of a "smooth talker".

What he's done is create chaos in the Department of Homeland Security. Do you think that is a good thing?

All these complex theories.

The was a breach of security at Trump's Florida house. Secret Service criticized in way it was handled. Head honcho fired by man whose known to fire people quickly.

Hardly a surprise.

Breach of security caused by the fact that the Secret Service can not restrict access to the resort, all they can do is check names, frisk and run people through metal detectors.

That's one reason why the President shouldn't staying at a resort open to the public.  The fact that he owns the resort and is enriching himself at taxpayer expense is another.  The fact that rich people and governments (and, evidently, spies and others) can get access to the President by paying the $200,000 admission fee (raised from $100,000 shortly after the 2016 election) is a third.
