Ahhh i picked the Dee's on maths alone...they were up for a win not that there any good at producing when there backs to the wall...was pure MATHS....mate of mine used the forumal to pick the quardella you know...he too would note the winning numers then noticed that at a certain time they would reproduce ....not necessarily in the same order but they did come up more often than not...so there is a bigger force at play you know..... it was written in the stars ......nothing could change it...though they tried...shit for 3/4's....its not relaxing watching this lot play....my gut was so tangled i hardly had any dinner.....thats what this lot do to ya.....

 

Start of something new? hardly....lucky we have re runs of the stooges to watch....noticed the Cats went down....so there you are my point proved....

I noticed you were one of several that took the plunge and back the hapless Dee's...dont know what was in your head for that....

 

Yes Frost is one of my Fav's they got him from GWS....there loss...hes been at Deeland about 4 ys now....Tall and extremely quick can play tall or short and has this amazing ability to just sprint off who ever is around...id expect him to be a leading backman in the comp within a few years...

Well all I can say is how disappointed I am. Another year on the bottom!! I was in the lead but the Alex asked me what my secret was in particular when I Picked the Dees to win and no one else did and there were odds on to lose. I somehow think this has cast a spell on me I assume something similar to what the Bar Girls when they place a spell on a man which is a very real belief in some Thai circles.

How Alex has managed this I do not know but I place all blame firmly at his feet and as I watch him clawing his way to the dizzy heights I was at for a little while I will now have to wait for my revenge next year as I do not see myself even rising to second last.

So I will hang my head in shame, pants down and all, show me the silver tray with the parsley on so I can at least wallow in my own self pity.

I've come to the conclusion tipping is like picking your lottery numbers(not that i play because i would rather die poor than broke).

Once apon a time you could look at a teams spine,bottom 4 players,home or away,who's in or out,opposition,grudge matches.

But it all counts for nothing these days.

All i know is once you get more than 5 away from the leader your in trouble as the more roughies you pick to catch up,the further away you become.

I blame it on the competition being  more even.????

Well thanks for that FJ, I do not think I feel better from reading your post, all I can say is thank goodness for my medication especially considering you are 4 in front of me and if you get to be 5 in front I am totally screwed and will finish the season being a bottom feeder!!!!

Last week, I described Sydney’s start to the season as being like a drunk stumbling out of the bar, and like me on a recent early Sunday morning, they’ve now done their hamstring.

With Lance Franklin now out for a month, it seems the Swans slim chance of making finals have been put to bed.

The Swans looked in trouble when Buddy went off in this, and it was only when they realised they were playing the Hawks did they relax and finish the job.

It certainly helped Sydney that Hawthorn lack firepower at the moment, with Jarryd Roughead having a quite night in his return to the AFL.

James Sicily also struggled up forward, which was nice to see. Alastair Clarkson referred to ‘the James Sicily Experiment’ after the match which makes me worried Sicily is about to release an album.

The real shame of the match was the fact Ben Stratton wasn’t playing. I would have loved to see the two craziest captains in the league, Stratton and Dane Rampe go at it.

In my mind, I was imagining Rampe climbing the goal post to escape Stratton who was trying to pinch him.

Some good news comes out of Deeland this morning....lazy Boy Geoff Garlett has been ruled out for the season...... nice........going in for shoulder surgery in 2 weeks...so no hurry to get him back it seems....and im glad about that...

 

Dees making up a nice little package to send off to some other AFL club end of season..Garlett...nice and fixed up, the young speed sensation in Billy Strech and Jay Kennedy Harris.....whos not to bad most of the time....mid sized sprinters could look good in any forward line but ours...they need a new home so WCE they go for Yeo.....and I will throw in Alex Neal Bullen...was very good previous 2 ys ..so there you go WILL.....a decent mid forward.....other wise there is Port....
