Appointment needed for visa in Penang?

Hi all,

 

I am a bit confused about the requirement to have an appointment at the embassy in Penang. When I visit the page of the embassy for Penang and click on Visa > Appointment it always leads me to Kuala Lumpur.

This is again for Kuala Lumpur. Do I make the appointment for Penang on there or is it just not required? I will have to get a Non B Visa next week.

PS. : called the embassy in Penang, no appointment required. This can be closed.

Penang is a consulate not an embassy. You do not need to make an appointment to apply for a visa at Penang. 

 

You appear to be using the system to make an appointment at the Embassy in KL.

The problem is that the Penang consulate website visa button or or visa on the service drop down menu takes you to the embassy website.

No appointment is needed for Penang.
