Limes are less costly, and although lemons contain a slightly higher vitamin and antioxidant level, it's probably not worth paying the extra - unless of course you often utilise the lemon skin in your cooking..

But unfortunately, lemon is also much more expensive than lime so eating three limes would be equivalent to eating one lemon?
