Why is no one pointing at him?

Because they don't want to lose their wedding rings.

Why is his clothes and shoes (even the flip flops) on display on the table?

Its probably what he bought with the proceeds of his crimes.

In other words, evidence.

You mean it wasn't a lady boy ????

usual con arm round then hand in victims pocket , i had it done by an east european girl in marine disco she also had a couple that kept an eye open for her i could not get the 300 baht back as i could not prove it and i was drunk at the time

Do they have Dreamers in Thailand like we do in the US?

I had a similar thing happen to me,  years ago in Spain,  North Africans pretended to be my friend. Admittedly I was a little bit drunk and maybe even my drink was spiked. Must be a north African ploy. More quality tourist arriving..

Pattaya, the international world class family resort....Don't you listen to TAT?

Yes, it is the high standard of tourists that bring these types. Pattaya needs to downplay it's image.

Give them credit they got the guy. The British Police wouldn't even bother to look.

After you live in Thailand for awhile you will end up looking like that. It is a hard life walking around on the hot sun and have to be friends with people that you don't know.

Algerian? ... should have entered Thailand on an inflatable boat, claimed asylum and then receive the equivalent of 2000 € per month from the government and no matter, what crimes, never extradited.

Oops - wait: that works only in Europe. ????????

Wrong decision to select Thailand for that.

He's probably happy to stay inside a Thai prison for some time.   Nothing for him back in Algeria.

Well done Pattaya Police. I hope the victims get their money back though.

How many Royal Thai Police officers does it take to change a lightbulb?

11?

They really did it to this guy avi-go!

11 of Pattayas' finest Police officers to apprehend a smirking 50 year old that looks at least 80, and is doubtful he's even Algerian.
