Ambulance driver: "Die for all I care" as he drives rival victim slowly to hospital

A Thai ambulance driver has resigned and apologized to a family and society after he admitted driving slowly to hospital with an accident victim with whom he had had a previous dispute.

The driver used to be a pineapple seller and he had had an argument with the victim. He said he hadn't forgotten it.

When he encountered that same person who was the victim of a road accident he deliberately drove slowly to hospital.

And he went online to admit it saying: "I hope they die".

He crawled along at 50-60 kmph as the victim fought for life in the ambulance.

Now the driver has admitted he was in the wrong. He apologized to the person in the back of his ambulance and society and said he wanted to meet the family to express this in person.

He has resigned as an ambulance driver.

The drama played out on the Facebook page of "Thee nee Nakorn Nayok" (This is Nakorn Nayok - a city north east of Bangkok).

There were no reports on the condition of the victim in the Daily News story.

Oooh, I thought you might have come out with 'It leaves a bad taste in your mouth'...

Always be nice, you never know who drives your ambulance one day

Apparently the victim was slow clapped as he was moved to the ambulance.

Well isn't that special, is this what they mean when they say "Thainess"?

In other countries that would be a serious crime what he did.

He just needs to Wai the family, then shave his head and become a monk for a week, all will be forgiven then.

Yes this news story does leave a bad taste. Quite sickening isn't it.....

OK, now I am going to be having nightmares tonight!

You could never make this stuff up, yet it happens daily in the Land of Smiles

The ambulance driver had been reading about all the speeding ambulances having accidents, he was making sure he wasnt 1 of them.:cheesy:
