Goodness she must have really upset some hisos to get this sort of treatment. Actual jail time for a a hiso is unthinkable. Hisos are routinely given bail while on appeal and the chance to flee. 

Will be quietly let out of jail in a year or so. By then, the public will have forgotten.

One can only hope so ,considering that no lives were lost by the bribery.

I am not condoning it, but sentence seems manifestly high.
