Trump Rejects EU’s ‘Zero Tariffs’ Offer, Vows to Erase $350bn Trade Deficit With Energy Sale
Nope, the question is who blew them up ??? and are the Germans (government) now regretting that they stayed silent even though I believe they know who did it and why. The pipeline was ready to open just needed a pump sent from Germany which could not be sent due to sanctions ( I think) anyway before the explosions it was rumoured that Germany was going to lift the energy sanctions against Russia as their manufacturing industry was in desperate need of cheap energy...still is. Or are you suggesting the Germans blew up the pipelines ?? makes about as much sense as the Russians doing it I suppose. -

Gaza Bloodbath: 30+ Killed as Israel Bombs Bakeries, Hospitals & Refugee Camps"
Nick, You used the heinous crimes committed by Hamas as justification for these killings. I’ve asked you which of the 30 victims of these bombings of a bakery, a hospital and a refugee camp took part in the heinous crimes committed by Hamas. If you have evidence they did, then perhaps you should refrain from offering that particular excuse for these killings. Thank you for at least admitting the IDF’s response is barbaric. Though that only begs the question why would you offer up excuses? -

Phuket Crackdown: Six Arrested for Illegal Employment Practices
Pictures courtesy of The Phuket News In a decisive operation led by Phuket Immigration officers alongside Region 8 Police, five Indian nationals and a Thai woman were arrested for illegal employment activities. This operation underscores ongoing efforts to curb unlawful labour practices and safeguard the local community in Phuket. Headed by Police Colonel Kriangkrai Ariyaying and his team, the crackdown targeted individuals violating Thailand's work visa regulations. The Indian nationals, Ghanshyam, Rupesh, Rampravesh, Sachin, and Harjinder, were discovered working on construction sites with only tourist visas, lacking the necessary work permits. They were apprehended for breaching Thai immigration laws that strictly prohibit work without proper documentation. Oruma, a Thai national, was charged for employing these foreigners unlawfully, further highlighting the intricate networks enabling illegal employment. Details regarding the arrest's exact location and timing were not disclosed, but authorities confirmed the group’s involvement in construction work across various sites in Phuket. Following their apprehension, the group was briefed on the charges, their rights, and the ensuing legal process. The case has since been transferred to Phuket City Police Station for continued investigation. Phuket Immigration underscores its commitment to eradicating illegal employment, urging the public to report any suspicious activities regarding foreign nationals. This operation is part of a broader initiative to uphold employment law integrity and foster a safe, trustworthy environment for residents and visitors alike, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-04-09
