Summer storms damage more than 5,000 homes in Nakhon Ratchasima

More than 5,000 homes were damaged and 16,000 residents were affected by summer storms in Nakhon Ratchasima in the past three months, provincial disaster prevention and mitigation office head Pornchet Saengthong said on Friday.

Dozens drown on Libya migrant boat; Italy impounds rescue ship

GENEVA (Reuters) - Dozens of migrants trying to reach Europe drowned in the Mediterranean on Friday and 100 more were sent back to Libya, the United Nations said, while Italian authorities signalling opposition to more migration from Africa seized a rescue ship.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A North Carolina man has been charged in the long-unsolved murder of a top Hollywood television director and world-class bridge player who was found slain at his Los Angeles home in 1985, prosecutors said on Friday.

BANGKOK, 10 May 2019 (NNT) - The motorcycle excise tax restructuring which changes from calculation of the capacity of the cylinder to the volume of carbon dioxide emission will be effective early next year which will raise the retail prices of most motorcycles in the country of less than 150 CC by 100-200 baht to support the measure to reduce PM 2.5.
