The figures show that in the past five years, Thailand has gone from third to first in inequality. The CS statistics show that as of 2018, the 1% control 66.9% of the national wealth. In Thailand, that 1% is about 500,000, compared with the 50 million Thais of working ages

Don't give a f...k anymore. It took me three years to understand that this country is acutely dysfunctional. We have to find our own workarounds..

So you are blaming the Shinawatra family for the coup. Since 1932 when Thailand changed to a constitutional monarchy, how many coups have taken place? 18/19 I THINK, so Thaksins family have

What is so difficult about that question? What did Thaksin do to make Thailand's justice system better? What did he do to fight corruption in police and administration?

He had many years to do something. Did he even try?

I understand that Thaksin is not the only bad guy. But he had the power and he had the support. Why didn't he make it better? I don't see any evidence he ever tried. He can be described as the master of corruption. And we should not focus on him...

You don't seem to acknowledge that it's now 13 years that Thaksin has been ousted, after less than six years in power. During these 13 years, Thaksin related governments barely represent 3 years in power, in large part crippled by yellow protests. Not really ideal conditions to reform the country....

So since 2006, there's been 10 years of yellow/green domination, 2 constitutions written by the yellow/green, and you still put the blame on Thaksin.

How about Samak Sundaravej and Somchai Wongsawat and his little incompetent sister?

Or do you believe they had nothing to do with him?

"Thaksin thinks - xxx act" was one of their slogans.

And the main point is: He didn't even try to reform the justice system or the police. If he tried and failed, ok, that happens. But he didn't even try. And his cronies spend most of their time to work for Thaksin's personal interests.

Samak 9 months, Somchai three months, Yingluck two years including a big flood and about 6 months of protests.

Ok about Thaksin, if you like, but what about the 10 recent years of yellow/green governments (which was the point I made in my post)?
