The dreaded time is neigh...

Here is a question I am sure no one here will know the answer to. Will "pagan sangkom" Thai social security which covers hospital bills be considered good enough when it comes time for visa renewal?

Despite being covered for everything with Thai social security, I am sure that I will get screwed upon my visa renewal. I do not think they have made any provisions for this. Furthermore, if I ever have to go do a visa run, I am sure that the consulates will make it even more impossible.

Any thoughts on this anyone?

At the moment medical insurance is not required for Extension renewals.

If you return to your home country and get a new Non-Imm OA or OX, medical insurance will be required in the future.
