You do not need to show proof of insurance to get a non-o visa.

The requirement to have it for a OA longs stay visa applied for in your home country has not gone into effect yet.

As I wrote before it is only for those 50 or over who apply for OA long stay visa at a Thai embassy or consulate in their home country and that has only been approved and it has not gone into effect yet.

No mention of it being needed for a non-o visa for those over 50.

i think you wrong here tge text from article on tha9visa.comThe requirement for mandatory health insurance appears to only affect those applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa OA.

According to the announcement on the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) website, it does not affect anyone who stays in Thailand on an extension of stay based on retirement, which is often incorrectly referred to as a ‘retirement visa’.

Extensions of stay are not visas. Most retirees who stay in Thailand do so on an ‘extension of stay based on retirement’.

A Non-Immigrant Visa OA can only be applied for at Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate overseas.

Anyone who has a Non-Immigrant Visa OA typically applies for this at the Thai Embassy or Consulate

....and i apply at a thaiconsulate for non o

You apparently were reading this article. https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1100622-mandatory-health-insurance-for-foreigners-aged-over-50-in-thailand-why-it-may-not-affect-you/?tab=comments#comment-14141804

You need to read it again and you will notice it does not mention a non-o visa anywhere in it. It only mentions OA and NON-OX visas,

whats the diffrence non o or non oa ---- google d0nt know  show only o

thxs

A non-o visa is issued for many reasons and allows a 90 day entry. It can be applied for at most embassies and consulates around the world.

A OA long stay visa is only issued for those 50 or over. It allows unlimited one year entries for one year from from date of issue. It can only be applied for in your home country or country of legal residence.
