Sorry, can't read or write Thai yet, but I was telling someone I wasn't well and they said something that sounded like 'phom pben huom' - what is huom? I'm sorry I can't transliterate it better but I hope the context will help.

Oh, the other word I've heard lately that I don't understand is something that sounds like "guiggarn" - any ideas?

I suspect this > คุยก่อน 'to talk with someone first'

Or possibly "Kui Kan" (can't type Thai on this computer) meaning "to discuss" or "talk together" "talk to one another" .
