I live in the Pattaya area and am due soon to return to Brisbane, Australia. I have approx 2 cubic metre of furniture, electrical goods and clothing to send.

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to who is available in the Pattaya area?

I have been quoted one figure of 18,100 Baht for 2 cubic metres. I think this is rather high.

I shipped 13 boxes, 50x50x40cm from Sydney to Tokyo, probably near 3 cubic metres (Qantas Unaccompanied Baggage (much cheaper than Cargo they said but you must be flying too) charged per kilo, not by volume) and it was about 27,000B. The distance and volume is comparable, what they quoted you is rather reasonable.

if you can pack some of it yourself it will be cheaper. Ask the removalist for a quote for them only packing, say, the furniture.
