Registering for Medical Cannabis

Featured Replies

To summarize - If you are considering registering for exemption with Medical Cannabis, you need to know that Tuesday, May 21, 2019, is the deadline to register.  To register, you will need:

  - Passport;

  - A Doctor's Certificate, theoretically obtainable from any licensed M.D., but realistically a doctor at a government hospital;

  - Proof you have been using cannabis, and therefore need to continue.  I interpret this as to mean a photo or a sample.  To grow/cultivate, a photo of a plant.

 Go to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Bangkok, One Stop Service Center in Building 6 of the large compund. Or, if you are in Pattaya/Chonburi area, go to the Provincial Public Health Officer in Chonburi across Sukhumvit from Chonburi Hospital Tuesday, May 21, open 08:30-12: and 13:00-16:00.

Both MoPH and FDA said this is completely safe and absolutely confidential.

Any further questions can be directed to the Bangkok MoPH at 02 590 7000, or to the Chonburi Officer at 038 932 450.

Tick, tick, tick.

Your interpretation doesn't sound very plausible.
