Not like the previous administration had a much different policy, or that before him etc. Not really a Trump thing there, albeit supporters could be tasked with finding excuses as to why he's continuing supposedly questionable legacy policies.

 

USA interest with the ME oil producing countries lies, I think, with keeping world market stable. Whether this is still the case, can be questioned as well.

IMO few Americans take much notice of the Brits, I certainly don't, and I lived there. Never seen such a bunch of PC people ( being polite ). The Brexit fiasco only goes to reinforce how barking Britain has become. Does anyone take them seriously anymore?

As for voting him out- any charismatic politician with reasonable policies could probably win the election against him. Had HRC not been the Dems candidate last time, probably any Dem candidate would have won. He won because of her, IMO, not because of him. Unfortunately for the Dems, they have no such candidate at present and time is passing by quickly. If they want a hope of winning, better get moving and find a decent candidate and some reasonable policies.

Well I agree with half your statement regarding PC but can not see your reasoning for supporting Trump soley due to that aspect. The man is a buffoon in my opinion, constantly falling into his own traps but as for PC, he probably doesn't not even understand he is being un PC.

If Britain was threatened by a ( unnamed, but you know which ) powerful country, the very people currently protesting Trump would probably be crying for the US to come and save them.

 

Sorry to say, but without the US, if Britain was threatened by a major, nuclear armed power, and the US didn't agree to come and save it, the best the UK could do would be to hang a surrender flag in the language of the aggressor, IMO.

Since the high days of BAOR, successive governments have emasculated the once great military to the point that they don't even have an aircraft carrier that can be used in a conflict. Sad much?

Well, I have to support someone, given the influence the USA has on my part of the world, and I could not, under any circumstance, support HRC, or her fellow travellers in the Dems party. Not being PC is as good a reason as any.
