Yes, the Army in Burma, their engineers were blowing up lots of things to deprive the Japanese of these resources. My grandfather was blowing up oil fields that further back in time he had helped to build at Yenangyaung, Burma. I assume prior to the battle of Yeungyang from 16th - 19th April 1942.; he survived whilst my granduncle died. -

I don't object to requiring someone trying to vote to identify themselves. What I do object to is making the list of acceptable IDs so restrictive that many people, especially minorities and the poor, can't easily get them. And, these types of rules are made, IMO, specifically to limit the voting ability of such people. -

I raised the point that the RAF had bombed Wilhelmshaven on 4. September 1939 to show that between German and Britain it was Britain who started bombing the other. And indeed 435 civilians did die due to the the RAF bombing Wilhelmshaven, thanks for confirming it. In terms of carpet bombing too, the British started it between these two nations. -

I am saying the Second Amendment is no longer fit for purpose. I doubt the people who framed it foresaw a situation where any wingnut could walk into a school and start killing schoolchildren. The same with the Electoral College. It is now used to thwart the popular vote. One way or another, I suspect Americans will have another civil war after November 5.- 1

Birth certificate and divorce document
I don't need the permission, I show the divorce doc showing I have full custody. However when I flew out this time on Monday evening we all used the digital scanners, never even spoke to an IO, I could do this as I didn't need the re-entry permit this time. we've left and come back in a few times already now. I visited the MOFA and had all the docs certified, easy process really, could book my slot while I was there.
