Mingkwan Sangsuwan looks like he's had his head in a vice

I don't know why I always think of these characters when I see Wissanu's photo

The court accepted a case against him over his alleged shareholdings in a media company in the lead-up to the elections. Thanathorn may be barred from politics for 20 years and may face 10 years in jail.

Hang on a god-dam minute. Mr Chan o Cha put his mug on a dozen of his state TV channels every frickin' week for 4 years!

"New PM will be elected". Sorry to be grammatically pedantic - don't they mean "appointed". But neither matters when we all know who it will be. So perhaps it is "we will tell you what we decided long before the election"

The Who’s lyric, “meet the new boss, same as the old boss,” is brought to mind.

Alice Cooper - I wanna be elected ????

it is very hard to get a dictator out of office once he is in and has control over everyone like we have now

Mr Mugabe was a prime example of democracy at its worst.

THIS is STILL ongoing? 555555 Really? Doesn't Thailand care about their image one iota? Saving face and all that! THIS is a huge joke.

why so much mystery and speculation, we all know who will be, they should stop the circus and move on to something more rewarding. Thailand should look at India to understand the meaning of democratic elections

correct and the funny thing is, when asking them if they want the job their answer is always NO, was looking at Sudan military chief speech, BBC news interviewed him and asked if he want to stay in power or was he ready to share with the people, his answer??? as soon as they want it I will leave....  as of now he's still there 555

as long the Baht exchange rate does not change and the real estate prices do not drop, I think nobody really cares who is running the country. Maybe next month the comedian show on friday evening will come back on television.

the 11 minor parties is where the focus should be. Those parties did not even earn a seat on their own merits, but were awarded seats due to a very controversial, undemocratic way of counting votes. And ALL 11 sided with the junta. Considering the way the political landscape in Thailand is shaped, that is simply impossible.

I think when investigation is done into where those 11 parties are coming from, it will be found that they are all being setup by the NCPO or people close to the NCPO.

It is simply astonishing that they are trying this nonsense in this day and age.

In any case, the anti junta coalition, which comprises of just 7 parties, already has 245(246) seats, so it is down to Buriram and the dems to come clean, support dicatorship or democracy. The choice should be easy.

It just keeps getting dirtier and dirtier and the majority of most all true voting Thai people who did not want this will have no way of washing their hands of this seemingly foul system.

We all knew how it would end, at least it will be over and the country can continue to deteriorate at the prescribed rate by the junta.
