This isn't about "my" liking. TASS is a mouthpiece of the Russian government. It isn't free press. Rant about Western media all you like, but they aren't on the same level. I didn't make any concrete claims on your off topic deflection side issue, not up to me to substantiate it or support it. On top of this, some sources are acceptable on this forum, some aren't.

Right, so Russian mouthpiece can never be true or factual as oppose to Western media.

It can never show another side to the story , as there is only 1 side?

Russian mouthpieces are suspect. Russian mouthpieces reporting on matters of national policy and conflicts all the more so. If one's only source is a Russian mouthpiece, then yeah....probably need to do better. Again, topic isn't really about the deflection story on offer, but rather dealing with them Ukrainian sailors held by Russia. What you're offering is a dubious they-are-badder.

1. Ukrainians went to tribunal without notifying Russia. Russia did not have a chance to provide any proof.

2. Once again, Ukraine is not an innocent angel as they or western media likes to make out, they are holding russian journalists, irrespective if you like the source or not

3. Those sailers did sail through and did fail to respond to calls to stop and to respond at all

4. Ukranian navy created this particular conflict at sea, it could have been easily avoided if they stopped.

5. Ukraine is just as hostile to Russia as Russia to Ukraine and it started  prior to annexation of Crimea. Expecting nation to sit idle while another is hostile is rather foolish assumption

Now, what exactly are you offering NOT to deflect from the story ?

Yawn. Mostly.

No claim that Ukraine was an "innocent angel".

The journalists bit is still something which you tossed in as deflection.

Even if details were precisely as you state with regard to the sailor incident, holding them for this long is over the top.

In other words you have ZERO to contribute but as usual felt the need to weigh in trying to belittle others.

What position are you in to determine that holding sailors for this long or that long is over the top? Are you a legal professional? or perhaps professor in politics?

Just wondering what exact qualifications do you posses to belittle other peoples opinions and decide what is over the top and what is not?

Again, Yawn.

I get it you're upset that your narrative and sources are not accepted without reservation, and that doubts are made regarding their credibility. Such if life. What's you offer in response are either further deflections or personal comments. Doubt that helps much.

IMO, its a minor incident blown out of proportion, with sides getting caught up in respective narratives and ongoing events effecting the chances for resolution (not of the whole conflict, just this bit of it).

My take on the length of time the sailors are being held, and on how appropriate it is relies on what posted in the previous lines, and on how similar (or somewhat similar) situation were resolved. Last I checked there wasn't a requirement to be of a specific professional standing to offer an opinion on these forums, and while at it - did you offer your credentials? (for all the weight it carries on open forum).  So just another pointless deflection on your part.
