Thai submit TM30 as POSSESSOR

Featured Replies

what are the requirements for a thai person to submit a TM30 (by EMS) to report a foreigner staying at the same address?

this would be a thai who is renting a house or apartment, so qualifies as POSSESSOR rather than owner of the property.

i would assume:  thai ID card, copy of rental contract, short letter stating that a foreign person(s) is staying at the residence.

the above in addition to the TM30 and the required photocopies of the foreigner's documents (photocopies of passport photo page, visa or waiver stamp, entry stamp, departure card), and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

.....send that package to the 90-day reporting address by EMS within 24 hours of arrival and wait for the receipt.

as the thai submitting the report is the possessor, and the property address is shown on the rental contract, is there any need for the property owners ID card, power of attorney, or other documents?

think you need signed chanotes and id from the owner and in some (all?) cases he has to go there in person..

this will be for CW.

owner may have to drive/bus 3 hours to submit a paper in person that duplicates the information i've already provided at extension and every 90 days?   haha, i don't think so!  not gonna happen.  more likely will tell possessor her hansum man has to leave.

Well, thats my own experience...

i just leave the country every 90 days now ... tired of their bs.

Depends on the local immigration office if you want to be sure call them and ask directly.

Might be that they want to have a copy of the house book and the id card of the house master in the house book in addition to rental contract and id card of the possessor.

That does not affect the requirement to submit TM30 for endorsement on return.

I don't ever go to immigration, so....
They can charge me if they want with their bs fine, i don't care.
Tried to register myself and they declined.

Don't EVER go to immigration? You living here? Leaving every 90 day avoids reporting. Has nothing to do with TM30

Aware aware... But they fine you when u do 90 day report without tm30.... My visa is valid another 4 years, will just pay the fine when i need a new one. No need to go there besides that.
