PUBLIC HEALTH Minister Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn has ordered an investigation into claims that cannabis oil “cured” a bed-ridden HIV patient, who has had the virus for over 20 years.

Father, two young daughters killed by poisonous gas at pig farm in Phatthalung

The owner of a Phatthalung pig farm and his two young daughters were killed on Wednesday when they were suffocated by methane gas fumes from the farm's waste treatment pond.

Arrested: Thai man "Ai Kai", 25, who strangled 14 year old girlfriend and set fire to her

Thai Rath reported that a police team from Trang in southern Thailand had arrested a 25 year old man in Surat Thani for the murder of a 14 year old high-school girl.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Hot, dry weather will persist across Australia's east coast for at least another three months, the country's weather bureau said on Thursday, in a forecast that threatens to severely crimp agricultural production.

Prime Minister suggests that people read George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”

Deputy Government Spokesperson, Lieutenant General Werachon Sukondhapatipak, said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha had recommended that those who are interested should read the Thai version of George Orwell’s book “Animal Farm”, saying it offers a good insight to life.

PHUKET: The Chief of the Phuket Provincial Office of the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has confirmed that there is no outbreak of African Swine Fever in Phuket and that there is nothing to worry about at present.
