Vision 44

and the people lose

Time for an investigation of the rich in this country and where their money came from

Unfortunately not tomorrow the day before :crying:

We have the same in so many so-called "democratic" countries in Europe;
For example, in France at the moment the trial of two elected officials of the Republic for tax evasion and other bad subjects is held.

Sorry, link in french

2. Protect the army, the police and all of those in power and those that are well connected.

Not the police ;

It is a total war between these two entities in Thailand.
Follow my look for mules carrying amphetamines that destroy this country.

Let him be king of the castle.  Just make sure that everyone else is a dirty rascal.

The only thing he gets being PM is prestige and money.

As long as no one joins with his party then he will be a lame duck.

The best thing that people can do it let him be PM but all other parties stay as the l opposition.

Make him have to be a dealmaker.  Make him have to work to get things done.

That is what people want. a democracy.

No party was given the keys to the country.  Let the PPP and thePT earn what they got.

The best thing for this country is a minority government.  It will show who is willing to work for the benefit of the country and who is in it just for themselves.

If the PPP fail and lose a no-confidence motion that does not mean another election.  The King can ask one of the other parties if they want to lead the country.

The law prohibits any member of the ruling National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) from contesting the election.

But a caveat:

after the first post-charter Parliament is established

Until Prayut presents the new government (new public officials for the Executive Branch) for official endorsement, as Chief of the NCPO Prayut still has constitutional authority to invoke Article 44. The NCPO only dissolves when the new government is "established" and loses all its powers granted under the 2014 Interim Charter. Under Article 44 Prayut doesn't have to contest anything - he can simply dictate his terms with legal authority.

"Any member of the NCPO" is redundant - Prayut is the only one who matters.

“The goal is to have a democratic government to lead the country forward, as expected by the people,” he said.

When does that start? No chance of that for the next 8 years

Interesting points. If you have a Junta government, with Article 44, unbridled power and you still can't make taxi drivers turn their meters on or stop refusing fares; or stop people riding motorbikes on the pavement sidewalks, then that says it all!

Yet he still get adored by some here. Says it all don't they.

“This is a way to show respect to the elected representatives.

But he is the "master" he shows no respect to anyone... it's the other way around in his eyes...

everyone should bow down to him!

“This voting is a process for Parliament. I have nothing to do with it. And there’s no need for me to show my vision. Also, the law does not require me to do so,” Prayut said.

Of course when you handpicked 250 voters, you do not need to do anything, vision, he probably has not got one except how to stay in POWER for another 5 years !

For the ones who are consolidating themselves with thoughts like "If he becomes PM, at least then he'll be subject to criticism and has to answer to the parliament and the people for his actions and cannot easily push his agenda trough because of opposition". Just forget it before you even begin, it'll be nothing but the same old "I have nothing to do with this, it's the job of the parliament" -crap to every thing he utterly f*cks up (and mark my words, he will do that over and over again) and his bootlicker army will stand there taking the blame with a big smile on their face accompanied by a mind-numbingly ridiculous explanation, plus a "clever" interpretation of the "laws" to silence anyone who makes too much noise.

All these idiots voting for him will suffer; the junta won't give up the trough to anyone else (or give them a chance to have any influence on the junta masterplan). Democrats, Bumjaithai et al. will quickly outlive their usefulness after this fake government is in place and they'll be disposed, one way or another (there's always a way if you're the law).

This country is already neck deep in military excrement and they won't stop there. Whoever supports this raping for whatever reason (be it a false sense of peace or some nonsensical boogeyman crap), just remember that it's not healthy to eat other people's droppings. Besides it looks pretty nasty.
