No rent for fire-affected vendors at Chatuchak market for a year

BANGKOK, 5 June 2019 (NNT) - Police have continued to investigate Sunday’s fire at Chatuchak market which may have been caused by a short circuit. A sum of 10,000 baht in compensation payments will be provided to each of the affected vendors by Friday and no rent will be collected from them for a year.

PHUKET: All four suspects arrested for the murder of a spirit medium whose remains were found on Saturday will undergo further questioning by police today (June 5), following the revelation at a press conference yesterday that the murder was carried out with a baseball bat.

Grab Tuk Tuk Electric launches in Chiang Mai, a Southeast Asia first

Grab has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with partners from both government and private sector organisations to establish the Chiang Mai Smart Mobility Alliance Network. This public-private partnership aims to reduce the use of private vehicles in Chiang Mai by 35 per cent in five years’ time, contributing to a less-polluted, less-congested Chiang Mai city.
