    One more thing: getting a new US passport will get you a different passport number. Therefore you will also need to change your passport info with the bank account concerned for your retirem

I just renewed my U.S passport had it in 10 days.   I went to CW in Bangkok to move my visa and stamps from old passport to new but they never moved my Re entry permit  The extension of stay and re entry permit expires in August so I will just carry 2 passports if I leave the country before then.    After I got home I noticed the re entry permit had not been transferred and some members of TV told me I needed to go to another counter that it was a separate process.  no mention of TM30 but at J counter the wait was very long I arrived at 10 am, I finished at 1:30pm.   I would get the stamps transferred to new passport if you have more then 6 months to wait, if just a few months maybe nevemind
