I’m not sure the demise of the Tory party is anything to regret.

What political role would  ‘The Brexit Party’ would have once Johnson has buried Brexit?

It seems to me that our economy will be in a safe pair of hands, maybe he will show the EU the £39 billion for photo shoot then retrieve it after the shot.

That is very short sighted. If you won't pay the bills EU would stop immediately subsidising projects started years ago already in UK. To make it easy for you to understand: a hospital without a roof or a road going to nowhere or a bridge half way crossing a river.

Boris is a gambler and charlatan but not stupid. The move will come after being PM, following his buddy David Cameron.

I like ol' BJ but I'm far from convinced that he is right for the job or able to pull it off. I can see McVey heading in Farages direction although perhaps not until a GE; & others (Raab? Baker?) might follow suit.

All guesswork of course as I currently have no idea where this is going.

I will be happy with any brexiteer who is willing to table a no deal if required. I like McVey too. Would be a great Home secretary for me. Steve Baker is awesome but not in this leadership race. So i think it will be Johnson and Hunt that rhymes with...... Hopefully then the brexiteers will rally around Johnson.

That's quite frightening, given a Johnson/Hunt relationship will mirror the one between B-liar & Broon.

Yes, the referendum was an excellent example of Democracy. A huge turnout, Leave won.

Parliament then conspiring to block leaving is an excellent example of a failing Democracy. So if they continue to attempt to block the implementation of the democratic vote then I am all in favour of prorogation. Parliament pitting themselves against the people (the source of their legitimacy) is a failure of the UK's democratic system.

You think allowing Parliament to overturn the largest democratic exercise in British history is democratic? Going against their own manifesto on which they were elected? Against the legislation they themselves enacted?

Well said there!

£39 billion would cover anything that the EU may subsidising for at least 10 years. Much of that money is wasted anyway.

That's nonsense. You are participating in a lot of EU Programs, science, Military, health aso.

No it's not. I'm talking about the so-called subsidies into the UK from the EU "budget", which is our money in the first place.

If you won't get that money ask your farmers...... but sure you are not interested because living in Thailand. You are talking a lot but....
