Yes, the referendum was an excellent example of Democracy. A huge turnout, Leave won.

 

Parliament then conspiring to block leaving is an excellent example of a failing Democracy. So if they continue to attempt to block the implementation of the democratic vote then I am all in favour of prorogation. Parliament pitting themselves against the people (the source of their legitimacy) is a failure of the UK's democratic system.

 

You think allowing Parliament to overturn the largest democratic exercise in British history is democratic? Going against their own manifesto on which they were elected? Against the legislation they themselves enacted?

£39 billion would cover anything that the EU may subsidising for at least 10 years. Much of that money is wasted anyway.
