And if 70% would now prefer to remain is it democracy to follow through with the vote from the referendum no matter what?

Would you say that week after week of 'Question Time and Politics Today" we have mostly, if not all remainers on the panel, out of 5 panellists we are lucky to have 1 leaver on the show. It is no secret that the BBC are run by young left wing liberals. They are not neutral.

I agree. I think that leaping to a conclusion that media of all sorts (Even including even far left or far right websites) are biased if we don't agree with them is unwise, the answer is always to look at the facts. The fact that sticks in my mind is that Farage has been on QT 33 times!

Both of the above posts make a few good points (whilst being wrong in other points) IMO.

 

At the end of the day the bbc is RUN by wealthy, establishment people who are liberal at heart - whilst having no desire (understandably) to see their wealth reduced.....

Why do people keep bringing the National Health into arguments, it is totally dysfunctional, throwing money down the NHS bottomless pit will solve nothing, it wants pulling down and rebuilding. It is not fit for purpose, the amount of money the tax payer spends on it, they certainly deserve better.

All the NHS is a political pawn to win general elections, if somebody can make it more efficient, do you really have a problem with efficiency?

It was Brexiteers who brought the NHS into the crock of Brexit.

 

The Leave campaigners knew them and know now that the future of the NHS is one the most important political issues in UK politics.

 

Farage’s views on the matter are political toxic, which is why I’d like to see him forced to discus them.

I regard him the single most likely candidate to do a complete about face on whatever Brexit position he claims to have taken.

He will face the same issue as May and all the other candidates: The same options on the table, while no majority in parliament for any of them. He could try the no-deal thing, but that would likely lead to a general election. That he doesn’t want because what he wants first and foremost is to be PM (and not just for half year).

 

If he’s not completely stupid, he says: “Look, there is no majority for anything. Everyone is fed up with it. I personally don’t care what the decision will be; I want to get it done and let the country move on. Thus, I give it to you the people to decide // I stop the whole thing here. Then I will move on to more important issues.”

 

That would be a strong move, and it would make him a respected PM while probably saving his party.
