I don't know why these honest taxi drivers finding left behind packages full of money and valuables all tend to contact radio stations first and not a police station to make the report. Not the first time, and won't be the last. Just appears odd..

'Taxi-Radio' is the go to radio station for all taxi drivers, its more of a central reporting system where drivers or passengers can report things left in taxi's, it then gets announced over the airwaves...

So, if someone has left something in a Taxi, they call 'Taxi radio'. If a Taxi driver finds something, he calls Taxi radio with the thought that the owner of the lost item may have called up to report the less....  Nothing odd about it.

Ask a Bangkok Thai, the all know about 'Taxi Radio'...

Well it had to come after the other stories this week about cheating scumbag taxi drivers. You would have thought a university lecturer would have better scruples than get involved in another T.A

  • i especially liked the use of the adjectives "scrupulously" and "immediately" just to emphasize just how honest he is and how quick to find the owner he was. Cynic that I am.

  • You can nearly set your watch to these honest cabbie stories.
