BANGKOK, 29 June 2019(NNT) - Designated ministers have delivered forms detailing their personal history and qualifications to the Office of the Cabinet’s Secretary General, before the names of the ministers are submitted to His Majesty the King for final endorsement. Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam advised that they must supply the details required in the form and clear themselves of any inappropriate business associations before taking office.

Chartpattana Party leader Thewan Liptapanlop visited Government House yesterday to submit the form which he had filled out on his personal history and qualifications, to the Office of the Cabinet’s Secretary General. He consulted with the deputy premier and assured him that he had clarified his share holdings in private firms with the Constitutional Court, saying the firms are only engaged in the real estate business and have no connection with any media business.

Democrat Party director Sutham Rahong also submitted the forms of seven designated ministers belonging to the party to the Office of the Cabinet’s Secretary General, saying there would be no more changes to the list of selected ministers in his party’s quota. He declined to comment on cabinet portfolios which may be given to each of those ministers.

Yesterday was the last day for submission of the designated ministers’ forms to the Office of the Cabinet’s Secretary General for re-examination. They were advised to fill out all details, especially regarding the possible holding of shares in any private firm which might also run a media business.

You can write anything on such a form, and in Thailand readily support it with credible looking fake documents. I was wondering if the answers would be made available for public scrutiny, but then reality sank in.

Last week Kao san road was very busy, lots of prospective government ministers were seen running around looking for fake document shops.????️‍♀️

based on performance alone very few to none are qualified to run much of anything except perhaps filling their pockets

Forms or envelopes.

Well someone has to say it.

I bet the most popular one might be: "This is to certify that the above named person has been in possession of a fully functioning brain for the past ninety days."

Not sure that one could be answered truthfully by many ...

Do they have to fill in forms on behalf of their proxies?

Personal history: bla bla bla, yada yada yada, brag brag brag

Qualifications: Loyal junta lackey (in the current climate that surely will be enough)

The latter could be a bit tricky for some !
