"An official with the Democratic National Committee told NBC News the organization has not received tickets to the VIP section for President Donald Trump’s Fourth of July celebration, “Salute to America,” as of Tuesday morning."

DNC says their feelings are hurt.

Aww poor baby ????

When VIP tickets are given only to Republicans, yes it is.

Your omission of pertinent facts is obvious.

Were tickets offered to Democrats? Could they have been and turned down as to not sanction the spectacle?

Trump's next rant will be about God and Mother Nature as the weather is not cooperating with his planned 4th of July Rally.  He's already postponed his speech and the giant flyover is in jeopardy due to thunderstorms.

The only reason you guys are crying about it is because you know its a winner of an idea.

Seems they cannot even give the tickets away to many of his donors, as they are out of town from reports in newspapers

It's like what could only be construed as the hand of God intervened and the skies magically cleared. What an airshow any American ought to be proud to watch this! Truly a sign of what a bright future America has. A true display of the grand spectacle which is American innovation. ingenuity and the bravery inherit to the birth of such a great nation. Wonderful speech. It really doesn't get much better.

God bless America and happy fourth of July to all Americans no matter where you find yourself today.

I'm thinking it is a campaign finance violation then, if true.

He didn't say anything vaguely controversial. It was a fourth of July event just like the military marching in the small town just around the corner from here. $2.5 million is what ten cents per American or less?

I bet 1/2 of his base fell asleep waiting for the rant that never came.  The applause wasn't very enthusiastic and most likely he is reeducating his staff as we speak but he managed to stay on script which was actually a boring 7th grade history lesson.  His speech writers aren't very good and he will quickly realize it if he continues to stay on script!

Well what would you expect . of course working and writing for him you could only produce a boring speech, he has to read it, and vaguely understand it

What's with the big empty patches off to the sides?  I used to go down to the reflecting pool every 4th (I lived a few blocks away) and it was standing room only everywhere between Constitution and Independence Aves- not just along the reflecting pool as shown here.

That was taken while the show was on so I would imagine that most people would want to be able to see.

But your hating on the crowd size is noted.

President Donald Trump had an accidental flub while reading his Fourth of July speech on the teleprompter. According to Trump, the U.S. Army, which was founded in 1775 protected the country by shutting down the airports.

Trump says US troops 'took over airports' in war almost 100 years before planes were invented. This is a president who does not know what he’s saying, a White House too incompetent to do basic fact checking, or someone with a serious reading problem. Again an embarrassment in the same vein as his famous claim that Canada burned down the White House

So you're ok with someone using government money to invite his sponsors and fans?

It's as good as using it to fund trans abortions. It's comical the kind of money the dems are suggesting we will use and then complain about this. It's just whining to hear yourself whine. Trump had a Fourth of July event it isn't a big deal. It's not like he printed 30 trillion dollars to attempt to buy votes.

You're not answering the question. Are you ok with it yes or no?
