Video: Thai man, 48, dies drinking beer during "neck relief" massage

Thai Rath TV news reported that a 48 year old Thai man died in a traditional Thai massage room in Samut Prakarn yesterday after having a heart attack while getting a neck massage.

 

Foundation rescue medics at the scene in King Kaew Soi 1 gave Somchai half an hour of CPR to no avail. 

 

Thirty three year old massage lady Suphawadee said that Somchai had been drinking beer downstairs before they went up to a third floor room.

 

As she was giving him neck pain relief he was still sipping his beverage.

She thought it strange when he started foaming at the mouth and spluttering.

 

He then urinated in the bed and passed out on the floor.

She called rescue teams immediately but they were unable to save the customer. 

 

The news team at Thai Rath speculated that it was a heart attack and that alcohol had contributed to the man's demise.

Isn't this the third news article this week about a man who died after drinking beer? I feel the forces of the temperance league could be at work here.
