He doesn’t have to be to bring about a vote on a final deal. 

 

He just needs to be willing to work with others in parliament with the same goal. 

 

This development in labour policy now makes that possible.

Well as a non Brit, you are probably unaware that many traditional Labour supporters are unhappy with Corbyns U-turn. And this includes many serving M.p’s as well as many M.p’s who are now retired. An example Austin Mitchell who was the Labour M.p for Grimsby. He is the the chair of the Labour Euro safeguard campaign. He has publicly stated that this U-turn shows that the Labour Party loves the E.U more than working class voters. And it’s a complete betrayal of its traditional supporters.

Lived in U.K. for first 30 years of my life and most of my extended family still do. 

 

Raised around labour politics, radical thought and union activity. 

 

I know more than enough. 

 

Not that any of that matters, as nationality matters not when commenting on an open forum...

Poor Mr Mitchell, would that he had retained his sanity. It has been shown time and again on this forum that only a limited proportion of working class voters voted leave. For Mr Mitchell to say "more than working class voters" clearly implying all of them, is beyond idiotic, imbecilic would be more appropriate. Talk of traditional supporters is a bit silly also, since at least half of the English working class vote Tory, and have done for some time.

New record low for the pound - missus says a lot of her friends / acquaintances are just sending one family member home now on the annual jaunt home as they can no longer afford to be pi yai for the whole family on the visit home. Probably be 30 when we make our three month visit in November with fuel surcharges as pound reaches parity with dollar.

There will be a deal that much is obvious now with the Tory revolt against Boris now and  we won't be crashing out on October 31st - Malagateddy - get your 2k ready - and this will very much be the deal that ERG and Boris said was worse than no deal aka a vassal state of the EU. Responsibilities but no power. But at least the pound will be saved you lucky b&&ers so you can keep on with your moaning tropes and maybe still be able to afford a beer you lucky people. Ball back in Remain court now - hedging strategies can be put on hold for the time being.

boris just has to cruise till leaving day and they can do what they like but makes no difference as the default leaving day is in law ..we will crash out on oct 31 for sure and we save 39 billion

err no we won't the will of Parliament as shown by the 41 majority vote and the willingness of the EU to extend.

Of course it can be stopped. Article 50 can be revoked or the Leave date can be extended again.
