So what's the update? That's news from 2016 (as stated), and to my knowledge nothing has changed?

Well, before 20th March 2016 the rule didn't apply. Did anyone know that before I posted the update? Caldera, did you? Be honest?

I've been knowing that since 2015, back then the upcoming change was widely publicized in an effort to make overstayers leave before the new rules came into effect.

I think it is fair to say that regular visitors to these forums are extremely aware of these rules, which were well publicised in advance of their introduction. There were probably over 1,000 posts in various threads discussing the new measures at the time.

I have just did a major cleanup of this topic to remove various inflammatory and flaming posts plus replies to them. A repeat of them will result in a formal warning.

I was looking in my content in late 2015 for the topic I posted about it. Should of looked at 2016.
