Water Pump

Featured Replies

I have noticed that lately I need to turn off & on my water pump for it to work.
This means that when I open the tap, the pressure is very low, but as soon as I turn the switch off and back on, it automatically works.

I have the Flowmat pump.  Also, I noticed it's held inside a box, could the heat be affecting it?

Thank a lot!

Possibly a problem with the pressure switch.

How can I fix that?

If you need to ask how, you will have to get your local pump supplier / electrical guy in to do it for you.

That's assuming it is the problem, but in any case seems you need outside assistance.

How does the on/off switch feel?

I can't see how cycling the power supply would effect the pressure switch which is either on or off.

Had a few Thai light switches fail. Jiggle them about nothing happens.

My first thought was the capacitor but I don't know if your pump has one.

Check the on/off switch first.

Could be the pressure switch or the capacitor or something else.

You need the services of your local pump man.

Where are you, someone may be able to recommend.
