try the thipurai city hotel it is about 1200baht with breakie included,right near the hilton hotel.

where is the jazz festival as im going down that weekend also?

not bad actually,the rooms are a little small,but beds are very comfortable and clean(a must) and the bathrooms are good.no bath only shower.

there is a small pool on top floor,breakie is american and buffet style.the staff are very polite and helpful.i like it cos its cheap/clean and very close to all the resturants and bars.
