I wonder will they ever grasp the etiquette of the mobile communication device and the buffalo less carriage (2 and 4 wheel)? Seems to have stumped them so far. Seems to cause more conflict than convenience.

Disagree

The individual filming is most likely just another equally entitled w***** looking to publish their video online to get likes.

unlikely

what would be their motive in showing up their own?

Disagree.

Social media fame is the holy grail; how it is achieved and at whose expense is irrelevant.

As he said; to get "likes". That's what fakebook and other social media is all about.

it is time to show up these "entitled" individuals that look down on people

Tread lightly on the subject "entitled" individuals that look down on people here at TVF.

There are many "entitled" individuals...????

Just very strange behaviour from all of them. A good move when things like this happens, would be to solve it in an office and not in the middle of a department store floor.

'"mobiles at dawn" standoff'

I bet they went to an online forum to do their battle of the ages. Damn I miss the days of good old bitchslaps.

I thought there was an incoming law about posting pictures or videos on the internet that needed consent from the individuals in the material? I personally find most of it disgusting, same as way too many CC tv cameras put up by the man. Hopefully this starts a movement on privacy rights. And that goes for foreigners having to check in for every trip outside of home.

How could anyone even take a selfi without violating everyone in the bg "privacy"? Point being, if people expect privacy in public, what you really would need to do is ban public photography essentially. I do not see any other way.

If that was the case no film of idiot driver from dash cams would be allowed, filming in public is OK but on public property like shopping centres probably not

With in reason has to be the middle line.

Don't forget the dog 'beating' film in Phuket, without that the evil British dog slayer would never have given himself up to the powers of justice and animal welfare champions ????

Not probably but sure ;

On all the entrance doors of the shopping centers of Thailand, small as well as very big, there are big stickers which prohibit you to photograph, to film, to enter with arms, etc ...

Oddly Thailand is leading in the use of Facebook, Instagram, etc for commerce. Reported by Reuters:

Issan kids were producing there own full length rice-paddy movies using hand phones well before Hollywood tried the same.

A mobile phone video dueling showdown, the perfect way for hot-headed Thais to sort out their trifle, making-mountains-out-of-molehills arguments. Let's see who runs out of storage first, thus loses.

A quarrel with the law .. (my father ??) Security. to plead good then .. But I didn't finish it. -????

Well, at least I can afford to pay a 20 baht parking ticket at a Shopping Mall without complaining about it on internet. :whistling:

The worst invention of all times - mobile phones with cameras!

Every Tom, Dick and Harry is either photographing something/somebody, themselves or video recording every argument or stupid act!

If these peopke actually had something to do, they woukdn't have the time to stand around making videos of every bloody incident!
