I can't answer your question but if the photo you have is rejected becauce 'wrong format', go on line and search for photo format conversion or change photo to jpeg sites.

Many free sites which can convert anything to anything and in a few seconds.

Good luck.

As far as I know, it should be a .jpg just under 200kb in size standard passport photo 35mmx45mm.

I've just got some hard copies done, and that photo emailed to me, it was 162kb (potentially for use on said system).

If the resolution is too low, its maybe picking up pixels that are to large??? at a guess.

I've not actually used the system yet, seems very temperamental!

Mine was a 268K .jpg file.  I got some printed the other day and it passed the UK passport dimension checks, and also gave a pass when uploading to the Thai evisa site for the UK.

UK passport photo requirements are size 45mm high by 35mm width, but the E-visa photo requirement states a width of 35-40mm is acceptable.

What visa are you applying for? And where?

Are you trying to a apply for 15 days visa on arrival? For that application the photo size is 4 X 6 cm.

Hi Joe I am applying for a single entry with a Maltese passport from London

I assume you are a legal resident of the UK.

I am not sure the photo size you upload really matters unless the file size is to big or cannot be reduced to the size required.
